Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Brooklyn peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Glad it is restored but wish the roof was painted verdigris color like the status of liberty and in old pics of it instead of dark gray.

Not sure where the "green-house" term kicks in but it really isn't a green-house. Was expecting more green, variety of plants, flowers etc. Additionally, the displays of photography and historical exerpts lack community representation, which is disappointing because this establishment is located in a well diversed community.

I went to the Greenhouse at Green-Wood Cemetery this weekend and wowβ¦ I loved it! The new space is just beautiful. You walk in and it feels calm, peaceful, and really well thought out, like everything just fits. Iβve been coming to GW for years and always love the landscape and the history, but this new Greenhouse takes it to another level. It somehow keeps that historic feel while also bringing in this fresh, natural, environmental vibe that makes the whole place feel even more special. You can tell a lot of care went into it. It doesnβt feel forced or overdone at all, just really, really nicely done. Every time Iβm in Brooklyn I try to stop by, and now I have even more reason to. Definitely worth it.

The name is extremely misleading this is not a greenhouse, itβs a flower shop / historical gallery of the famous people buried in the greenwood cemetery. Iβm sorry but something feels off about marketing it as a greenhouse! Are you jumping on the climate crisis branding wagon? How does this even work!!!
